Our Process
PHASE #1 - STRATEGIC PLANNING
At the outset, our primary goal is to understand your vision and desired outcome thoroughly. We delve into how the space currently functions (or doesn't) and how you envision it functioning in the future. We consider who will be using the space and how their needs impact the design. Through discussions, we explore your needs, wants, and desired outcomes, and may utilize your existing floor plans or create new ones through precise measurements. This phase culminates in a clear project scope and initial budget projection.
PHASE #2 - CONCEPT AND DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (CLARIFY GOALS, EXPLORE SOLUTIONS, DEVELOPING THE DETAILS)
Building upon the gathered information, we translate your vision into initial design concepts, layouts, and material or product selections. We present room layouts and material boards, including fabrics, wall coverings, textiles, color palettes, cabinetry, millwork, lighting, art, and accessories. This presentation provides an opportunity for you to review and request any changes before proceeding.
PHASE #3 - EXECUTION (CONSTRUCTION, PROCUREMENT, & PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
Once design is approved, we meet onsite visit with contractor/trades to discus execution. The team secures any necessary permits and initiates the procurement process. Throughout the project, we maintain close communication with you and oversee the construction process. We conduct site visits to ensure that the construction aligns with the design.
PHASE #4 - STYLING
The final phase involves putting the finishing touches on your space. This includes strategic planning and programming, concept and design development, contractor matching, project management, and, finally, styling. It's the culmination of a well-executed design journey, resulting in a space that reflects your unique style and personality.
